Gerry Mayer

Gerry Mayer (born August 3, 1960 in Lustenau ) is an Austrian sculptor .

Life

Gerhard Mayer attended the technical college in Bregenz , after which he became an engineer . From 1976 he made drawings and sculptural works, mainly in bronze , but also in steel , raku and other materials. From 1985 to 1997, Mayer carried out thematic studies in North and South America , Asia and Europe . Since 2005 he has been teaching at the Academy Stift Geras and Kunstfabrik Wien (figurative modeling).

Since 2008 he has lived and worked in the Vorarlberg community of Dünserberg .
