Gerson , full name Gerson Fraga Vieira , (born April 10, 1992 or October 4, 1992 in Porto Alegre , Brazil ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

The 1.79 meter tall defensive player Gerson played two games (no goal) in the Paulista A1 in 2012 for the Oeste Futebol Clube . In the same year he moved to Gremio Porto Alegre and ran there four times (no goal) in Gaucho 1 . In 2014 he moved on. However, different information exists about its goal. While one source has eight appearances and one scored goal for Gerson at Red Bull Brasil in the Paulista A2 , elsewhere it is reported that he played in the MLS for the New York Red Bulls . At Apertura 2014 he joined the Uruguayan first division club Atlético Atenas . At the club from San Carlos he was used 26 times (one goal) in the Primera División in the 2014/15 season and was relegated to the second division with the team at the end of the season. He then returned to Red Bull Brasil and played eight games in Serie D, two in Paulista A1 and one in Copa do Brasil - each without a personal goal . At the beginning of July 2016, he moved to Mumbai City in India. His competitive debut is still pending there (as of October 3, 2016).
