Gert Kams (born May 25, 1985 in Koeru ) is a former Estonian football player .

Career

He began playing football at the lower-class club Koeru SK, rather he moved to FC Valga for the 2005 season and became a regular there. Due to his good performance there he was committed to the 2006 season by FC Flora Tallinn . There he made it straight away to become a regular player, after which he was later appointed to the Estonian national team. He made his debut on February 3, 2007 in a friendly against Poland .

On a USA tour with his national team on March 1, 2012, Kams scored the first goal for the Estonians against El Salvador at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles .
