Gertraud Klawitter

Gertraud Klawitter , sometimes referred to as Gertraude Klawitter , (* 1926 ) is a German actress and voice actress .

Life

Klawitter appeared as a theater actress on stages in the GDR. These include the Kleist Theater in Frankfurt an der Oder, the State Theater Eisenach and on the stages of the city of Gera . There she played the title role in Brecht's adaptation of Maxim Gorki'sThe Mother ”, directed by Rüdiger Volkmer . In 1978 the ensemble also gave a guest performance at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin with this production . Her other stage roles include “Marwood” in Lessing's Miss Sara Sampson and “Isabella” in Shakespeare's Measure for Measure in Frankfurt (Oder).

Occasionally, Klawitter also appeared in feature film productions. She played under the direction of Slatan Dudows in Christine , under the direction Herrmann Zschoches in guarantee for one year after Tine Schulze-Gerlach and as the mother of Armin Mueller-Stahl's girlfriend in Roland Graef's drama Die Flucht . On television, she was in two films in the series The Public Prosecutor has the floor , in the series Rund um die Uhr and as the leading actress in the television game Canasta .

In addition, Gertraud Klawitter worked extensively as a voice actress. She lent her voice to Joan Hickson as "Miss Marple" in ten film adaptations, some of which consisted of several parts, of Agatha Christie's crime novels.
