Gertrud Kirchhoff

Gertrud Kirchhoff (born December 26, 1902 in Schöneberg near Berlin ; † October 9, 1966 in Berlin) was a German politician ( SPD ).

After her training, Gertrud Kirchhoff worked as a nurse and later as a welfare worker . In 1919 she joined the trade union and in 1924 the SPD.

After the Second World War , Kirchhoff worked in the welfare department of the city of Berlin. In February 1949 she moved up to the city ​​council of Greater Berlin for almost two years , as Robert Rohde (1900-1958) had left parliament. She worked on a voluntary basis in the State Board of Workers' Welfare (AWO) Berlin. She later headed the main nursing office of the city of Berlin as a councilor until 1966.
