Robert Rohde

Robert Rohde (born July 30, 1900 in Brandenburg an der Havel , † February 12, 1958 in Berlin ), was a German politician ( SPD ).

Robert Rohde attended elementary school and did an apprenticeship as a cooper . In 1920 he joined the SPD. Until 1933 he was employed by the Association of Food and Beverage Workers (VNG). In 1934 he passed the master craftsman's examination and then became an independent master cooper.

After the Second World War , Rohde became party secretary . In the first Berlin election in 1946 he was elected to the city ​​council of Greater Berlin . He was also re-elected in the next election in 1948 , but left parliament in January 1949. His successor was Gertrud Kirchhoff .
