Gertrude Kubiena

Gertrude Kubiena (born August 5, 1938 in Vienna ) is a retired Austrian doctor and politician ( ÖVP ).

After graduating from high school, Kubiena studied medicine and received her doctorate in 1963. In 1972 she opened a practice for ear, nose and throat diseases and in 1976 became the first female police doctor in the 2nd and 20th districts of Vienna. Between November 13, 1978 and May 27, 1983, Kubiena was a member of the state government Gratz III as a city councilor without a portfolio.
