Story hater is a song by German rock musician Stephan Weidner , the head and bassist of the band Böhse Onkelz . It was written and produced by himself. The song is the only single from his first solo album Schneller, higher, Weidner and was released on April 11, 2008.

The music video for Story Hater is black and white and animated . It shows Stephan Weidner, who sings the song and plays the bass guitar. Meanwhile, the background changes steadily and shows, among other things, various high-rise buildings that eventually collapse. Later, the singer drives around town in a car while he continues reading the text and other cars overturn.

Chart successes

Story haters entered the German charts at number 38 on April 25, 2008, and one week later reached the highest position at number 19. In total, it stayed in the top 100 for six weeks. In Austria and Switzerland, however, the song missed the charts.

In the positive review of the accompanying album Schneller, higher, Weidner on laut.de by Michael Edele, story- haters are described as "a really good rock song with a great melody that immediately hisses into long-term memory".
