The Legislative Assembly of Irkutsk Oblast ( Russian Законодательное собрание Иркутской области ) is the legislature in Irkutsk Oblast , which is a federation subject of the Russian Federation in the Federal District of Siberia . The chairman has been Sergei Sokol from the United Russia party since September 19, 2018 .
composition
The parliament consists of 45 members who are elected every five years by mixed proportional representation and majority voting. 23 mandates are given to electoral lists of parties that have passed the five percent threshold . Another 22 mandates are awarded in individual constituencies , in each of which a candidate for the Legislative Assembly is elected. In the last election in 2018, the parties of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation , United Russia , the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia , Just Russia and the Civic Platform won .

The representative of the legislature of Irkutsk Oblast in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation , the upper house in the Russian parliament , is Sergei Brilka . Vyacheslav Marchayev also represents the executive .
