Ghana Town is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for the year 2013, around 1660 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 452.
geography
The place mainly from fishing lives, is in the West Coast Region district Kombo North on the Atlantic coast and located about four kilometers north of Tanji west and six kilometers from Brufut removed. As the name of the village suggests, it was founded by emigrants from Ghana . The residents live exclusively from fishing, in the village you can often see wooden racks on which the fish are dried. The dried fish is mostly exported to Ghana.
