Alikendorf is a district of the city of Oschersleben (Bode) in the southern district of Börde in Saxony-Anhalt . The former church village is about eight kilometers southeast of the city center.
history
Until the state was dissolved, the place was part of the Anhalt exclave Großalsleben and an independent municipality in the Ballenstedt district . With the reorganization of the administrative structure of the GDR , the municipality came to the Oschersleben district in 1952 and, in the course of the district reform in Saxony-Anhalt, to the Bördekreis in 1994.
On January 1, 2003, Alikendorf lost the status of a politically independent municipality and was incorporated into the city of Oschersleben (Bode) together with the municipalities of Groß Germersleben , Klein Oschersleben and Kleinalsleben .
Attractions
The townscape is determined by the Protestant village church from 1500. The historical pigeon tower is also worth seeing. Until the Second World War, there was a Jewish cemetery in Alikendorf, about 300 meters southwest of the town exit. It is not clear whether it was leveled by the National Socialists or after the end of the war.
