Emmeringen is a district of Oschersleben (Bode) in the Börde district in Saxony-Anhalt .

Geographical location

Emmeringen is about 3 km north of the city of Oschersleben. In the north, about 3 km away, is the Hohe Holz .

history

Emmeringen was first mentioned in a document on November 1, 1084 in a deed of donation to the Huysburg monastery . The von Bokenau knightly family ruled here from 1599 to 1652. Ludolph von Bokenau's grave slab has been back in Emmeringen since 2007. After the rule of the Valentin and Diedrich families in the 17th century, Emmeringen was converted into a Prussian state domain in 1737 .

On October 1, 1926, the manor Emmeringen was converted into a rural community. On July 1, 1950, the municipality of Emmeringen was incorporated into the city of Oschersleben (Bode).
