Neubrandsleben is a district of the town of Oschersleben (Bode) in the Börde district in Saxony-Anhalt , Germany.

The village of Neubrandsleben is located on the Hornhäuser Goldbach south of the Hohes Holz nature reserve , three kilometers north of the district town of Oschersleben (Bode).

history

A settlement “Brandsleben” was first mentioned in 1136 in a document from Bishop Rudolf von Halberstadt. Originally, Neubrandsleben was a country estate belonging to the Count of Asseburg on Neindorf.

On December 1, 1928, the manor district of Neubrandsleben was converted into a rural community of Neubrandsleben. On July 1, 1950, the community of Neubrandsleben was incorporated into the city of Oschersleben (Bode).

Attractions

  • Socialist stone - a boulder at the birch spring (northwest of the village) with the inscription: "1878 - 1890 meeting place of the first social democrats under the socialist law ".
