The Trivor Glacier (in the lower part also Gharesa Glacier ) is located in the western Karakoram in the Pakistani special territory of Gilgit-Baltistan .
The Trivor Glacier has a length of 24 km. It flows from the western slope of the Trivor ( 7577 m ) in a westerly direction through the southwestern part of the Hispar Muztagh . The southern Lupghar-Yaz glacier flows into the glacier on the right. Below the junction, the glacier is also known as the “Gharesagletscher”. The Gharesa ridge separates the glacier valley from the Hispar river valley further south . The Trivor Glacier feeds the Gharesa , a 7 km long right tributary of the Hispar. In addition to the eponymous mountain Trivor, the catchment area of the Trivor glacier is also framed by the mountains Momhil Sar ( 7414 m ) and Lupghar Sar ( 7181 m ).
