Gherardo La Francesca

Gherardo La Francesca (* 17th March 1946 in Rome ) is an Italian diplomat in retirement .

Career

On September 1, 1974, he joined the foreign service. On March 16, 1975 he headed the consulate in Pireo in the port of Athens as secretary of the mission. From June 9, 1978 to July 21, 1981, he was First Class Legation Secretary in Buenos Aires. From November 19, 1990 to October 31, 1994, he was First Class Legation Secretary in Cairo . From October 31, 1994 to September 11, 2000, he was Counselor in Tokyo .
