Ghost Horror House - The Leroux Spirit Massacre (Original title: American Horror House ) is an American horror film from 2012 . It is directed by Scott and written by Anthony C. Ferrante .

action

After their actual fraternity house burned down, the Kappa student fraternity lives in Miss Margot's house. Strange things are going on in this house. The novice fraternity will soon have to find out. It is the Halloween party of union and the newcomers - as usual in US university fraternities / sororities - have to cope with different tasks. The group of young students is initially unclear whether what is happening to them is the work of their fraternity sisters, or whether there are indeed supernatural things going on in the house.

Even before that night, people kept disappearing around the house, including the student Marylin Scott. The investigating private detective Reginald Armond, like the young students, is confronted fairly quickly with the fact that something is wrong in Miss Margot's house. However, neither the landlady nor the students give him any support worth mentioning in his search for Marylin Scott.

Several people gradually die or disappear at the Halloween party. When the fraternity novices Daria and Sarah understand what is happening, the remaining and mostly drunk students at the party don't believe them. The spirit of the violin teacher Miss Pena reveals the secrets of the house to Daria and Daria and her friends fight from then on for their survival and to free the souls of those who were killed.

reception

The film service thinks Ghost Horror House is a "dreary, cheaply cranked mixture of Halloween massacre and prudish student eroticism". The US pay TV version has been "significantly defused".
