Gi Talo Gi Halom Tasi
Gi Talo Gi Halom Tasi is the national anthem of the Northern Mariana Islands . The text of the hymn was probably written by Jose S. Pangelinan shortly after the end of World War II . The melody of the hymn is that of the German song In the most beautiful meadow by Wilhelm Ganzhorn . The song was declared the country's official anthem in 1996. Since the Northern Mariana Islands are an autonomous US territory, the US anthem will also continue to be sung.
