Our Father's wondrous creation;
Bequeathed to us, our Motherland;

My island (heart) lies behind the ocean;
Like a wreath of flowers on the sea;
With a light from Mekar from far away;
Does it shine with the glow of rays of life;
Our Lord's wondrous creation;
Inherited to us, our country;
I will not leave my beloved home;
God of our forefathers protect and bless the Marshall Islands forever.
