Giacomo Gorzanis (also Jacomo (de) Gorzanis ; * around 1520/1525 in the Apulia region ; † between 1575 and 1579 probably in Trieste ) was an Italian lutenist and composer.

Gorzanis stated that he was born blind. Around 1557 he traveled to the duchies of Carinthia and Carniola . He later settled in Trieste, where he received citizenship before 1567.

Gorzanis was one of the most productive lute composers in Italy and published the following lute books, some of which contain highly virtuoso pieces:

  • Libro primo. Intabolatura di liuto (1561)
  • Il II. Libro de intabolatura di liuto (1563)
  • Il III. libro de intavolatura di liuto (1564)
  • Opera nova de lauto, messa in luce da suo figliolo Massimiliano, libro IV (undated)
  • Il I. libro di napolitane (1570)
  • Il II. Libro delle Napolitane (1571)

In addition, some manuscripts with his works have come down to us.
