Life

Minutoli worked as a city architect in Messina. Nothing is known about his training.

His main work is the “ Palazzata ”, built in Messina between 1899 and 1908 , a 1.5 km long building front that faces the sea and is divided by arcades, which was also called “Teatro marittimo” because of its impressive effect.

Like most buildings in Messina, the “Palazzata” was destroyed by the great earthquake of 1908 .

Even after the earthquake in 1783, Minutoli designed the new course of Via Ferdinandes (since 1860 "Via Garibaldi") and its most important buildings.
