Gianluca Grigoletto (born July 24, 1974 in Rovereto ) is an Italian ski racer who has been carving races since 2003 . In the Ski World Cup , Grigoletto finished in the points only once, but in the Carving Cup he celebrated numerous victories and has won the overall standings three times so far.
biography
Gianluca Grigoletto took part in 15 races in the Alpine Ski World Cup from December 1995 to January 1998 . He started almost exclusively in slalom and once also in giant slalom. In the second round of the top 30, however, he only made it once in the slalom in Kitzbühel on January 14, 1996. In this race, with 20th place, he also won his only World Cup points. In 1996 he became Italian champion in giant slalom and 1998 in slalom. Until 2001 he took part in the European Cup races and for another two years in FIS races .
Then Grigoletto switched to carving . He won numerous races in the FIS Carving Cup and was overall winner in 2005, 2006 and 2007, while he finished second overall in 2004, 2008 and 2009. He finished the 2010 season in third and the 2011 season in fifth overall. In 2008 and 2010 Grigoletto became Italian carving master.
