Gianpiero Palmieri
Gianpiero Palmieri (born March 22, 1966 in Taranto , Italy ) is an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Rome .
Life
Gianpiero Palmieri received on 19 September 1992, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On 18 May 2018 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Idassa and auxiliary bishop in Rome. On June 24, 2018, he was ordained bishop by Angelo De Donatis , Vicar General of Rome, with the assistance of Luis Ladaria , Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith , and Giuseppe Marciante , Auxiliary Bishop in Rome, in the Lateran Basilica .
