The Gibbs Brook is a watercourse in Surrey , England . It arises as Stratton Brook west of Godstone and flows in the south of the place in an easterly direction through the Leigh Palace Pond , as well as another unnamed lake. After leaving the second lake, it changes its name and now flows first in a southerly direction, then again in an easterly direction up to its confluence with the River Eden .
