Gidea Park is the British pop and rock band around singer , multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Adrian Baker. The biggest hit was the Medley Beach Boy Gold in 1981 .

Band history

Adrian Baker was a member of the Essex Pebbles in the late 1960s , who later renamed themselves to Playground and then to Gidea Park. With their sound, which was modeled on the Beach Boys , the British managed to enter the UK charts twice in 1981 . Beach Boy Gold reached number 11, Seasons of Gold a little later number 28. The band is still active and touring today .
