Gidi Kanyuk ( Hebrew גידי קאניוק; * February 11, 1993 in Ramat Gan ) is an Israeli soccer player .

Career

Gidi Kanyuk learned to play football in the youth team of Maccabi Petach Tikwa in Israel. Here he also signed his first professional contract in 2011. The club from Petach Tikwa played in the second Israeli league, the Liga Leumit . In 2013 he celebrated the championship with the club and rose to the first division . In 2016 he won the Israeli League Cup with Maccabi . For Maccabi he completed a total of 147 games. In 2017 he moved to Paxtakor Tashkent in Uzbekistan . The club from Tashkent played in the first Uzbek league, the Uzbekistan Super League . In 2017 he played 17 times for the club. In the first half of 2018 he was loaned to Maccabi Tel Aviv in his home country . With Tel Aviv he celebrated the runner-up at the end of the season. He was then loaned to his former club Maccabi Petah Tikva. After the end of his contract in Uzbekistan, he returned to Israel in September 2019. Here he signed a contract with the first division club Hapoel Haifa in Haifa . In July 2020 he moved to Thailand . Here he signed a contract with Buriram United . With the club from Buriram he plays in the first division, the Thai League .
