Gielsdorf is a village in the municipality of Alfter in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia . Until 1969 Gielsdorf was an independent municipality of the Duisdorf office in what was then the district of Bonn .

Gielsdorf is about a kilometer southeast of the center of Alfter (place) on the slope of the foothills . In the south, Gielsdorf has grown together with Oedekoven . The former municipality of Gielsdorf had an area of ​​4.10 km².
