Gil Shachar

Gil Shachar (born December 26, 1965 in Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli painter and sculptor and lives in Duisburg .

Life

After studying art at the Artists Teachers College in Ramat Hasharon , he first taught at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem and then at the Beit-Berl College for Painting and Sculpture in Kfar Saba .

Gil Shachar makes sculptures of people he knows or simple everyday objects from wax and epoxy resin.
