The house Gildschaft 7 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located on the north side of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg in the Westendorf district on the south side of the Gildschaft street and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. Gildschaft 6 , which is also a listed building, is adjacent to the east and Gildschaft 8 to the west.

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built according to a building inscription in 1690, according to other information in 1699. In 1768 the building was expanded by four containers to the west. An inscription also refers to this. There are pyramid beam heads on the house . While they are located in the older part of the building on the threshold as well as on the eaves, their use in the extension is limited to the threshold. The use in the extension is the penultimate appearance of the design in Quedlinburg.

The front door is from the beginning of the 19th century and has a skylight .
