Gintaras Jonas Furmanavičius

Gintaras Jonas Furmanavičius (born July 5, 1961 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian manager and politician from Kaunas.

Life

After graduating from high school, he completed his civil engineering diploma in 1984 at the Kauno politechnikos institutas and in 1997 the MBA master's program at the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas . From 1984 to 1991 he was an engineer at “Kauno komprojektas”, from 1991 to 1992 commercial director at UAB “Tricon”, from 1992 to 1996 general manager at AB “Žemprojektas”. From 2004 to 2006 he was the Minister of the Interior of Lithuania in the Brazauskas II cabinet (13th government). He has been a member of Kaunas City Council since 2007.

He has been a member of Darbo partija since 2004 .
