Virgilijus Vladislovas Bulovas

Virgilijus Vladislovas Bulovas (born November 6, 1939 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian electrical engineer, politician and diplomat.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1955 at the “Aušros” boys' grammar school in Kaunas , Bulovas completed his diploma studies at the Kauno politechnikos institutas (KPI) in 1960 and became an electrical engineer and received his doctorate in 1975. In 1958 he was a pension technician, from 1960 assistant at KPI, from 1962 high school teacher, 1968 vice dean , from 1976 to 1987 lecturer, 1987 dean of a faculty.

From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas , 1996 and from 2003 to 2004 Minister of the Interior . In 1997 he was a member of the Kaunas City Council (list of the LDDP ). From 1997 to 2001 he was Ambassador to Kazakhstan , and in 2001 he was Vice Minister for Interior.
