Born Villain is the eighth studio album by the rock band Marilyn Manson . It was released on May 1st, 2012 by Cooking Vinyl .

history

Already during the "The High End of Low Tour" in 2009 the band began to write new material. She had recently terminated the contract with the old Interscope Records label and thus had more creative possibilities again. In November 2010, Twiggy Ramirez announced that the band was working on a new album. In February 2011, drummer Ginger Fish left the band. The lead single "No Reflection" was finally presented in March 2012.

Reviews

The NME gave the album 6 out of 10 points. The critic wrote: “The truth is, though, there's just a lack of magic, a lack of something special going on. It's not bad. It's not good. "
