The High End of Low is the seventh studio album by the rock band Marilyn Manson . It was released on May 20, 2009.

history

The album was recorded in the Hollywood Hills in 2008. It was co-produced by Sean Beavan , who mixed the albums Antichrist Superstar , Mechanical Animals and Eat Me, Drink Me . In addition, were Brian Warner and Chris Vrenna involved as co-producers. The first pieces were presented at the end of March 2009. The first single Arma Goddamn Motherf * ckin 'Geddon was released on May 14, 2009. The album is the first since Holy Wood (In The Shadow of the Valley of Death) with bassist Twiggy Ramirez .

Reviews

The BBC wrote that the album offered a targeted satirical commentary on "naughty America": "Best of all is We're From America, where Manson fully lives up to his occasionally over-hyped reputation as an intelligently scabrous lyricist."
