Gintaras Klimavičius

Gintaras Klimavičius (born January 26, 1958 ) is a Lithuanian politician. From 2013 to 2016 he was Vice Minister for Social Protection and Labor .

Life

After graduating from the Jonas Jablonskis Middle School in Kaunas from 1965 to 1976 , Gintaras Klimavičius graduated from the Kauno politechnikos institutas with a degree in civil engineering in 1982 and from 1986 to 1992 the degree in organizational psychology at the Vilniaus universitetas . From 1991 to 1992 he worked as an engineer at the Institute for Project Planning for Water Management . From 1992 to 2010 he was the director of Kaunas in the Service for Education of the Lithuanian Labor Market at the Ministry of Social Affairs of Lithuania . From 2010 to 2013 he headed the Center for Psychological Services. From December 18, 2013 to December 2016, he was Deputy Minister for Social Protection, Deputy of Algimanta Pabedinskienė in the Butkevičius cabinet .
