Gintara's Vilda

Gintaras Vilda (* 5. January 1965 ) is a Lithuanian politician , Deputy Minister , Deputy Economy Minister of Lithuania .

Life

After secondary school in Petrašiūnai , Gintaras Vilda completed vocational training as an electrician at Kaunas Polytechnic ( Technical College Kaunas ) in 1984 . From 2003 to 2004 he completed a Masters at the Technical University in Kaunas .

1998–2004 he was a foreman, then deputy head of the department and headed the strategy department at AB Vakarų skirstomieji tinklai (AB “ESO”), and from 2000–2003 he was chairman of the board of Lietuvos išsėtinės sklerozės sąjunga . 2004–2009 he was director. Then he worked at UAB "Elektromontuotojas" as Business Development Director (responsible for sales, business development, innovation and knowledge management. Mr. Vilda created and implemented company knowledge, employee competence development, perspective planning systems, innovative company structure, standards and implementation of the code of ethics) at UAB "Elektromontuotojas" .

From 1998–2009 he was the director of AB “Šiaurės žiedas”. From 2009–2013 he was director of the Republic Education Center for Energy Economists . 2013–2014 he was production director and board member at UAB "Arginta Engineering". From 2014 to 2018 he was Chairman of the Board of VšĮ “Intechcentras” and Director of Lietuvos inžinerinės pramonės asociacija LINPRA . Since January 15, 2018 he has been Deputy Minister of Economy of Lithuania and Deputy of Virginijus Sinkevičius in the Skvernelis cabinet .

Vilda was the director of the Lietuvos inžinerinės pramonės įmonių asociacija (LINPRA) industrial association .

He is married. With Mrs. Milda he has three daughters and one son.
