GionnyScandal (* 27. September 1991 in Pisticci , province of Matera , as Gionata Di Dio ), civic Gionata Ruggieri , is an Italian rapper .

Career

He grew up with adoptive parents in Seregno , Province of Monza and Brianza . At the age of four he lost his adoptive father, and at eleven his mother too. He began his career in 2012 with the release of two EPs on the independent label Halidon . Its popularity on the internet grew. In 2014 the first album Gionata followed at Sony , which reached the top 10 of the Italian charts. After switching to Universal , the next album, Reset , was released in 2016 , again reaching the top 10. In 2015, the rapper failed in the auditions for Amici di Maria De Filippi . In 2017 GionnyScandal also published the autobiographical book La via di casa mia at Rizzoli.
