Giora Seeliger

Giora Seeliger (born August 19, 1953 in Haifa , Israel ) is an actor, director and theater teacher.

Life

Between 1974 and 1977, Seeliger studied educational sciences, sociology and psychology at the University of Düsseldorf up to the pre-diploma and then between 1977 and 1980 completed theater training in France with Jaques Lecoq , Etienne Decroux and Yves Lebreton .

From 1990 he built up the CliniClowns Austria and became its artistic director. In 1994 he founded the association Rote Nasen Clowndoctors Austria together with Monica Culen and was artistic director of the association until the end of 2011. In the following years he founded further sections in many other countries such as the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Poland, Lithuania and in the Palestinian territories. In 2003, Seeliger founded the International School of Humor (IsH), of which he has been director ever since.

Seeliger is also an actor, director and theater teacher.
