Giovanni Battista Consiglieri
Giovanni Battista Consiglieri (* 1491 in Rome , † August 25, 1559 in Rome) was a cardinal of the Roman Church .
After studying literature, Latin and Greek, he got married. From this marriage two daughters were born.
When his wife died, Consiglieri entered the church service. He became a cleric of the Diocese of Rome , Apostolic Protonotary and President of the Apostolic Chamber . Pope Paul IV. Raised him on 15 March 1557 to cardinal and appointed him on 24 March 1557 for the cardinal deacon with the title Diakonie Santa Lucia in Septisolio . On December 16, 1558 he moved to the titular church of San Nicola in Carcere .
