Giovanni Bongiorni

Giovanni Bongiorni (born July 8, 1956 in Pisa ) is a former Italian sprinter .

Life

At the European Athletics Championships in Athens in 1982 , he came fourth with the Italian team in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

In 1984 he won bronze at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Gothenburg over 200 m and was again fourth with the Italian relay at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles .

At the European Championships in 1986 in Stuttgart, he was part of the Italian quartet that came in fourth in the 4 x 400 meter relay .

In 1981 he was the Italian outdoor champion over 200 m, and in 1986 indoors.
