Giovanni Migliorati (Cardinal)
Giovanni Migliorati , also Giovanni Nicolò Migliorati (* in Sulmona ; † October 16, 1410 in Bologna ) was a cardinal of the Catholic Church.
Life
The nephew of Pope Innocent VII was in possession of a doctorate in constitutional law and in canon law. When he was made Archbishop of Ravenna on September 15, 1404 , he was not yet of canonical age. On June 12, 1405 Migliorati was elevated to cardinal priest of the titular church of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme . From September 16, 1406 he was also active in the papal curia .
He participated in the elections of the anti-popes Alexander V (1409) and John XXIII. (1410) part.
