Giovanni dei Conti di Segni

Giovanni dei Conti di Segni (*?; † beginning of June 1213 ) was an Italian cardinal .

Life

He was the papal house chaplain and auditor of the Roman Rota .

In December 1200 he was appointed as a cardinal depository by Pope Innocent III. who was a cousin of his, cardinal deacon with the title deaconry Santa Maria in Cosmedin in Rome. In the period from December 10, 1201 to May 6, 1206 he certified papal bulls ; he was also the papal legate in Orvieto and vice-chancellor of the Holy Roman Church . In 1210 he was a cardinal protodeacon .

He died between May 31 and June 14, 1213.
