Edita Pučinskaitė won the prologue. Nicole Brändli won ahead of Joane Somarriba and Edita Pučinskaitė in the overall standings.
2008
The 19th Giro d'Italia Femminile took place from July 1st to July 10th, 2008. It led over 10 stages. 16 teams with 8 drivers per team took part. The winner Fabiana Luperini before Amber Neben and Claudia Häusler .
2009
The 20th Giro d'Italia Femminile took place from July 3rd to July 12th, 2009. He led over 916 km in 8 stages plus the prologue over 2.5 km. Claudia Häusler won ahead of Mara Abbott and Nicole Brändli in the overall standings. The mountain classification was won by Mara Abbott in front of Nicole Brändli and Claudia Häusler.
