Gisela Fuchs (born on April 18, 1928 in Ilsenburg ) is a former manager of the VEB “Progress” Magdeburg and was a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR .

Life

Gisela Fuchs was born the daughter of a worker and attended elementary school in her hometown. From 1943 to 1946 she completed a commercial apprenticeship. From 1947 she worked as an unskilled worker, cutting assistant and from 1952 as a brigade leader in the VEB “Progress” in Magdeburg . In 1954 she joined the Democratic Women's Federation of Germany (DFD). In 1957 she was accepted into the SED . In 1954 Gisela Fuchs was elected to the People's Chamber of the GDR for the first time. There she was a member of the Budget and Finance Committee. She was elected to the Volkskammer until the Volkskammer election in 1987 and belonged to the DFD parliamentary group there.

She was a master of the state-owned industry, a graduate engineer and economist and most recently operations director of the VEB “Progress” Magdeburg. Nothing is known about her further life.
