Gisela Heidenreich

Gisela Heidenreich (born August 31, 1943 in Oslo ) is a German author.

Life

Heidenreich was born in a Lebensborn home in Oslo. She grew up in Bad Tölz and in Munich . The special education teacher practices as a trained couple and family therapist and mediator . She has been married to the writer Gert Heidenreich since 1979 and is the mother of the singer-songwriter Julian Heidenreich . She lives near Munich. Heidenreich is a member of the PEN Center Germany .

Her book The Endless Year , in which she described her biography as a Lebensborn child, was a bestseller. The focus of her book Geliebter Täter is Horst Wagner , who during the Nazi era was jointly responsible for the deportation of Jews and war crimes in his function in the Foreign Office and who managed to evade conviction by the judiciary after 1945; The love affair between Wagner and Heidenreich's mother plays an important role in the book.

In addition to her literary work, Gisela Heidenreich also designed these topics in a three-part radio broadcast for Bayerischer Rundfunk in 2015 under the title The Black Folder. All three parts are available as a podcast.
