Gisela Hoffmann
Gisela Hoffmann (* 1963 in Fehmarn ) is a German artist .
Life
After studying art history at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg , Gisela Hoffmann studied free textile art from 1987 to 1992 with Stephan Eusemann and Hanns Herpich at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg . During this time the artist received numerous prizes and awards and participated in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad. Since 1993 she has been working as a freelance artist ( Concrete Art ). Her artistic work focuses on art-in-building projects such as the “Quarter Pillar” in the Bavarian State Chancellery in Munich (1997) and the installation “Osmose” in the Museum of Concrete Art in Ingolstadt (2004–2014).
