Gisela Matzer (born September 7, 1941 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Gisela Matzer is the daughter of actress Grete Bittner and actor Josef Liszt . In 1944 she moved to Klagenfurt am Wörthersee with her mother . After training as a primary school teacher, she worked as an actress and assistant director at the Klagenfurt City Theater from 1967 to 1998 . She has three children.

After several stays in India in 1999 she decided to stay there and collected donations for the construction of an orphanage. With the support of Nirmala Srivastava , she opened the Vishwa Nirmala Prem Ashram orphanage and women's home in Greater Noida, a satellite town in New Delhi , in 2003 .
