Gisela Pelzl
Gisela Pelzl (born December 21, 1939 ) is a former German basketball player .
Life
Pelzl came to basketball through her sports teacher Marlies Ixmeier . In 1968 she became basketball champions of the German Democratic Republic with the SC Chemie Halle . She was appointed to the GDR women's national team four times. Professionally she worked as a doctor and worked at the Olympic base in Halle. Her husband Gerhard was also a national basketball player.
