Gisela Rubbel
Gisela Rubbel (born June 1, 1929 in Görlitz ; † in August 2015 ) was a German actress .
Life
After finishing school, Giesela Rubbel went to the state conservatory in Erfurt . She received her first engagement at the Landestheater Meiningen under the direction of Fritz Diez . In 1953 she went to Meissen, later to Güstrow, Magdeburg, Potsdam and the Volksbühne in Berlin.
With her height of 1.90 m until 1990 she occasionally took on supporting roles in film and television in the GDR . In July 2016, the DEFA Foundation announced in its newsletter that Rubbel had passed away in August 2015.
