Gisela Sparmberg

Gisela Sparmberg , b. Hippe, (born February 6, 1953 in Graefenroda ; † August 20, 2016 ) was a German politician in the FDP . In 2014 she was a member of the Thuringian state parliament for around eight months .

Sparmberg received the Abitur at the Extended High School in Arnstadt and studied economics at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena . She finished her studies with a degree in industrial engineering and engineering economics. In 1975 she started working as an engineer for production planning at VEB Projektierung Wasserwirtschaft Halle in Erfurt . She then worked for the Erfurt Economic Council and held several functions at VEB Reh-Kinderkleendung, which later became part of Reh Fashion GmbH. After reunification, she worked as a consultant, team leader and deputy head of department for the Treuhandanstalt , which later became the federal agency for special tasks related to the unification , in the Erfurt branch and in Berlin . Since 1999 Sparmberg has worked as a freelance mediator, trainer and coach at the Mediation Center Erfurt, and for a while she was also an environmental mediator in the office for landscape planning and ecological studies in Erfurt. From 2010 to 2013 she was the managing director of the FDP parliamentary group in the Erfurt city council. On February 1, 2014, she moved up for Lutz Recknagel in the Thuringian state parliament . In the state elections in Thuringia in 2014 , in which the FDP left the state parliament, Sparmberg did not run again.

Sparmberg was married and had one child.
