Giselle Salandy (born January 25, 1987 in Siparia , Trinidad , † January 4, 2009 in Port of Spain ) was a boxer from Trinidad and Tobago .
In 2006 Salandy won six world championship titles in the light middleweight division (WBC, IWBF, WIBA, WBA, NABC and WBE) in three fights . On March 29, 2008 Salandy won against the previously undefeated boxer Karolina Lukasik from Poland on points. In addition to your six belts, there were those of the GBU and WIBF . On December 26, 2008, Salandy defeated Yahaira Hernandez on points in their last fight .
On January 4, 2009, Giselle Salandy died at the age of 21 as a result of a car accident that she suffered near the capital Port of Spain.
