Women's International Boxing Federation

The Women's International Boxing Federation ( WIBF ) is, together with WIBA, IWBF and others, one of the leading boxing organizations in women's boxing. It organizes official fights and awards the WIBF world championship title in professional boxing for women. The association is based in both Miami , Florida , and Karlsruhe , but has no connection with the IBF men's boxing organization .

The president of the association is the former English professional boxer Barbara Buttrick , Vice-President is the German Jürgen Lutz , the first trainer of Regina Halmich .

Well-known current and former title holders of the association are, besides Regina Halmich, Susianna Kentikian , Karolina Łukasik , Ina Menzer , Natascha Ragosina , Julia Sahin and Sarah Bormann .
